Go GO Go Joe

This production was designed by Graham Stone, and music directed by Jacob Carll. All of the creative team worked closely to set this show in a new 1960s era and give it a more rock focused sound. Some challenges that came with this particular show were moving the band onstage, dancing and singing in the aisles during the Mega-mix, and the children’s chorus.

During the run of the show, I was responsible for maintaining the show and equipment, and preparing for the next production and changeover. I also trained the next engineer on the system in anticipation of him handling the next changeover and show as my contract ended.

This show was done a Yamaha M7-CL console.

Below is a video taken at front of house during a performance to see what a typical mix would look like.

With dazzling sets and costumes and rock concert lighting, this high energy sung through tour of the famous bible story is full of catchy songs, from a parody of French ballads "Those Canaan Days", to country-western ("One More Angel in Heaven" and even calypso "Benjamin Calypso", along with the unforgettable classics "Any Dream Will Do" and "Close Every Door" and wildly entertaining dance numbers "Go, Go, Go, Joseph."
